A new comedy short film festival is ready to entertain Bucharest, first edition of Comedy Short Film Festival @ Plaza Romania (2 – 8 March 2015). The festival is organised by real estate developer Anchor Group, a very active supporter of modern arts, and hosted by Movieplex.
Film makers can register their work in one of the three main sections of the competition until the 10th of December. Comedy Short Film Festival @ Plaza Romania is divided into the following sections: the Official Competition, the Student’s Short Film Competition and the Animations Short Films Competition. Each section comes with it’s own dedicated jury, consisting of cinematography experts. Besides the movies screened during the competition, a separate eclectic movies schedule will pe screened outside the competition.
The prizes offered by the organisers are: Best Plaza Comedy Short Film Award (1500 de euro), Best Student Comedy Short Film Award (1000 de euro) and Best Animation Comedy Short Film Award (1000 de euro). All comedy short films made after 1st of January 2000 are eligible to enter the competition.
